Beaufort News!

The Island Packet ran a great story about Port Royal Elementary (which is near Beaufort) and the new laptops their school is receiving. The students were ecstatic on Monday which was the first day they were able to use the new XO laptops.

OLPC goes to the Upstate

Last week the OLPC-SC team went to unveil their newest school to receive laptops. Mountain View Elementary in Taylors, SC. The Greenville News wrote an article which you can read here and also posted a fantastic photo gallery of the students using the laptops.

OLPC - SC Joins Facebook

In an attempt to using social networking sites to spread the word about OLPC-SC we have formed a Facebook Group. Please join the group and then remember to invite your friends as well so that we can continue to let more people know about this amazing program.
